I am torn between two promptings as the furnace of summer approaches. I wish to inhale the Maine air and paint for the purpose of capturing its essence. This is the comfort zone of the past. I also wish to set myself free and paint as if from a blank slate, paintings too big for my little studio, of subjects no one expects from me. This is the diving board of the future. Do both?

  2. Hi Sally,
Just wanted to let you know that someone at Photobucket is selling a copy of one of your posters. I just nabbed them for trying to sell one of my images. I didn't know how else to contact you...sorry about leaving my message here.

  3. Hi Sally

My name is Bonnie, I just wanted to let you know how much i have always admired your art work. When i bought my home in Gilbertsville, Pa,i wanted to fill it with nice art, I went with a friend to the art store in Chesterbrook, PA, I browsed through 100's of prints and every print that i liked had your name on them. I ended up buying 3 of them, but life takes you different roads and I never purchased anymore. However, last week I was on ebay and noticed a beautiful painting, when i looked closer it was one of yours, so I bought it, "Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club". My daughter has your other paintings hanging in her home, she lives in Maryland and I think they are displayed more appropriately, since I too, now live in Florida. I moved here in 2000 and love it! I'll take 8 months of almost perfect weather (except for this winter) then only 3 months of nice. Anyway, all this babbling what I wanted to know is, if you have painted anything from Florida, I would really be interested in seeing it.

    Sincerely
    Bonnie Amplo
